Kaleid & Kaleid Flux - 1000Hz Polling Rate Firmware Upgrade Tutorial

    Requirement:

    • Windows Edition 10 or above
    • Windows Version 22H2 or above
    • GameSir Nexus Version 1.3.9 or above
    • Kaleid Firmware Version 1.46 or above
    • Kaleid Flux Firmware Version 1.11 or above

    (For controllers with firmware versions lower than required, users can upgrade by following these steps: download the corresponding firmware upgrade zip file below or update the firmware directly through the GameSir T4k App.)

    *Kaleid Firmware Version that lower than 1.40 will not display the polling rate setting.

    *While using the 1000Hz Polling Rate, the earphone and native trigger vibration functions will temporarily be disabled.

    Ⅰ: Upgrade through GameSir T4k App(Take Kaleid as an example)

    1. Download the GameSir T4k App. Press and hole the Xbox + Menu buttons while connecting the cable to the controller and the device. Release the buttons, and the controller will automatically upgrade the firmware.

    2. When the app indicates "Update successful," it means the firmware upgrade was successful. Users can now open the GameSir Nexus app to set the polling rate to 1000Hz.

    Ⅱ: Upgrade through firmware upgrade zip files

    Step 1: Download the Apps and the Firmware Upgrade Program.

    P.S. Although the firmwarre upgrade zip files are different, the process is the same.

    Step 2: Install the Certificate and the GameSir Nexus App.

    a. Unzip the application and double-click the “HJC.XboxApp.GameSir” file (which has the certificate icon).

    b. Install the certificate.

    c. Select "Local Machine".

    d. Select “Place all certificates in the following store”, and then click “Browse”.

    e. Select “Trust Root Certification Authorities”.

    f. Finally click “Next”.

    g. After completing the certificate installation, double-click the installation program.

    Step 3: Upgrade the controller firmware. (Take Kaleid as an example)

    a. Unzip the “Controller Firmware Upgrade program”, then double-click it.

    b. Simultaneously press and hold the Xbox + Menu buttons without releasing, then use the Type-C cable to connect the controller to the computer.

    *The controller will remain powered off.

    c. Click “Download” to upgrade.

    d. The progress bar showing “Upgrade SUCCESS” indicates that the upgrade is completed. Users can now open the GameSir Nexus app to set the polling rate to 1000Hz.

    After upgrading the controller firmware successfully, you can turn to GameSir Nexus to toggle polling rate.

    P.S.: While using the 1000Hz Polling Rate, the earphone and native trigger vibration functions will temporarily be disabled.
