Tutorial: How to Enable the 1000 Hz Report Rate Setting

Before enabling the 1000 Hz report rate script, please ensure the following:

1. Your computer is running Windows 11.

2. The G7 firmware is version 3.26 or higher, and for G7 SE, the firmware should be version 6.30 or higher.

3. The GameSir Nexus is version 1.2.9 or higher.

Enable the 1000 Hz Report Rate Script

1. Open GameSir Nexus on your computer and verify that the version number is 1.2.9 or higher.

(Download GameSir Nexus on Microsoft Store.)

2. Click the "Profiles" button.

3. Choose the profile for which you want to enable the 1000 Hz script. Then click the "Report Rate: 250 Hz" button to change it into "Report Rate: 1000 Hz".

Note:

1. The Default profile does NOT suppot customization.

2. The Report Rate setting will only function and be saved in the targeted Profile.

4.To ensure the 1000 Hz setting taking effect successfully, GameSir recommends you to click the "?" icon to download the script package. It will then automatically start downloading in your default browser.

5. After successful downloading, please extract the package; you will then find five contents.

6. Right-click on Enable.bat and select “Run as administrator”.

7. After receiving the successful operation prompt, a computer restart is required for the setting to take effect. (Subsequent usage does not require restarting every time; enabling the 1000 Hz setting in the GameSir Nexus software will make the script take effect directly.)

Disable the 1000 Hz Report Rate Script

1. Right-click on Disable.bat and select “Run as administrator”.

2. After receiving the successful operation prompt, a computer restart is required for the changes to take effect. (Subsequent usage does not require restarting every time.)

Note:

1. On GameSir Nexus, you have the option to choose different report rates. It is natural that while running the 500 Hz or 1000 Hz report rate setting, the controller's Headphone Jack will be disabled. 

2. The 500 Hz report rate setting requires to be used on Windows 10 or higher, and there's no need to enable the 1000 Hz script. The 1000 Hz setting can only be uesd on Windows 11

3. For general gamers, GameSir recommends using the 500 Hz report rate; for professional gamers, a 1000 Hz report rate will better suit your needs in intense gaming competitions.
